This site is dedicated to my grandparents, Bonnie Hensley Brown and Eugene Rae Brown. Above is a picture of me with my grammy, taken at a Christmas Eve party in the early 90's. Below is a picture of them together. They were married at the beginning of WWII and had more than 50 years together. Grandfather and Gram were both amazing people and are greatly missed.
Yes, my name really is Daybreak. :)I grew up in California, spent time in the Black Hills of S.D., and now live in Arizona... which is not all desert, by the way. We have mountains! I'm happy to say I live at 7000 ft. elevation and it is not 105 degrees on this summer day. I spent years working in home health care, then recently have spent a couple years as a Bed and Breakfast manager/innsitter. Running an inn is the kind of work I have passion for. I love my family, holidays, and all things food related... hence this website. I hope you enjoy it.
