Crock Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage Recipe
serves 6 one corned beef brisket, 3 1/2-4 lbs. 3 T. pickling spice 1 lb. potatoes, washed and chopped 4 carrots, washed and chopped 2 small onions, chopped one small head of green cabbage, chopped Place the corned beef in a large slow cooker and scatter the pickling spices on top. Add enough hot water to cover the meat by at least 1 inch, put the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high, 7 to 8 hours. Add the vegetables for the last hour of cooking.
