Sweet Dream Bars with Nuts and Coconut

Makes 2 dozen squares

1/2 c. butter

2 T. powdered (confectioners') sugar

1 c. cake flour

2 eggs

1 1/4 c. brown sugar

2 T. flour

1/4 t. salt

1 1/2 t. baking powder

1 c. chopped nut

1 c. moist, shredded coconut

Preheat oven to 350 F. Thoroughly blend butter, powdered sugar, and cake flour; spread evenly in greased or wax paper-lined 8 inch square pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs and brown sugar until thick; add flour, salt and baking powder that have been sifted together. Add nuts and coconut. Spread over first mixture in pan and put back in the oven for another 30 minutes. Cut into squares and cool in pan.
