Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

Jalapeno Poppersmakes 24 appetizers 12 fresh jalapenos 8 oz. cream cheese 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 lb. bacon Note: Be very careful to thoroughly wash your hands immediately after handling peppers! Or wear gloves. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled if you are cooking for a crowd. Preheat oven to 450 F. Cut stems off jalapenos, then cut in half and remove seeds. Mix cream cheese and cheddar. Fill each pepper half with cheese mixture and wrap with 1/2 slice bacon. Bake 10-15 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
